Blacktails are a hybrid cross between a Rhode Island Red and a Light Sussex. They are friendly, hardy birds that thrive both in a run or free-ranging. Known for their excellent laying ability, Blacktails are also sex-linked, meaning their sex can be identified at hatching — males are yellow with small black patches on the tail, wings, and neck, while females have a golden-brown tint with similar black markings.
You can order hatching eggs for a future date rather than immediate dispatch — simply specify your preferred date in the comments section at checkout.
